Smith Haven Mall Vendor Table Restrictions: 

All vendors must wear a mask, subject to change.

No hand-written signs at vendor tables.

No displays over 6 feet in height.

No beverages may be sold or given away.  Vendors may not eat or drink at their table.

No balloons, helium or otherwise, at indoor or outdoor events.

Vendors may arrive 45 minutes prior to the start time of the expo and must be set up by the start time of the expo. 

No break down before the expo ends.

Some vendors may be required to provide certificate of insurance naming Specialty Connections LLC and

Mall at Smith Haven, LLC as additional insured. 

Other restrictions may apply.

 

It is hereby agreed that by purchasing on this website I will abide by the rules and regulations in this two-page agreement.  Acceptance of this application by or on behalf of Specialty Connections LLC shall constitute a contract.

 

Additional Details

Refund policy – All costs are subject to change without notice.  All sales are final.  There are no refunds for any reason (including cancellation by Payor/Vendor), but substitutions are allowed with permission.  

 

Event Location – Smith Haven Mall, 313 Smith Haven Mall, Routes 25 and 347, Lake Grove, NY 11755.

 

Photo Release:  Specialty Connections LLC and Mall at Smith Haven, LLC reserve the right to photograph the Vendor areas for use in promotion of this and future events.

 

Vendors: Samples may be distributed, and items may be sold; however, no alcohol, tobacco products or any products not legal to sell in New York State may be promoted.  All distribution or solicitation is fully restricted to the confines of your table area.  A paper sign may be on each Vendor’s space for identification purposes. 

 

Display – No signs or decorative materials may protrude beyond the table area.  No obstruction may be placed in any aisle, passageway, lobby or exits leading to any fire extinguishing devices.  

 

Installation/Dismantling – The Mall at Smith Haven, LLC requires all displays to be completely arranged by the event’s start time.  If a Vendor has not arrived and registered by the event’s start time, Expo Coordinator reserves the right to remove and/or substitute Vendor without refund.  All displays must remain intact until the official close of the expo or event as indicated above.   Arrangement and payment for transporting goods to and from the Expo, receiving, decorating, and removal of exhibits are the responsibility of the Vendor.

 

Insurance and Hold Harmless Clause – Vendors assume entire responsibility and hereby agree to protect, indemnify, defend and save Specialty Connections LLC and Mall at Smith Haven, LLC and their owners and employees harmless against all claims, losses, and damages to persons or property, governmental charges or fines, expenses and attorney’s fees arising out of or caused by each Vendor’s installation, removal, maintenance occupancy or use of the premises or a part thereof excluding any such liability caused by the sole negligence of Specialty Connections LLC’s and Mall at Smith Haven, LLC’s owners, employees and agents.  In addition, each Vendor acknowledges that neither Specialty Connections LLC nor Mall at Smith Haven, LLC maintain insurance covering Vendor’s property, and it is the sole responsibility of the Vendor to obtain business interruption and property damage insurance covering such losses by Vendor.  By signing this contract, Vendors agree to hold harmless Specialty Connections LLC and Mall at Smith Haven, LLC from any claims, financial or otherwise made by any individual or entity.  Vendors shall abide by and observe all federal, state and local laws, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations.  Vendors who prepare, distribute and/or sell any food products hereby indemnify the Specialty Connections LLC and Mall at Smith Haven, LLC from any claims or damages relating to the preparation, distribution, sale or consumption of such products.

 

Force Majeure: Specialty Connections shall not be deemed to have breached this agreement by reason of its failure to perform any of its obligations if caused by strikes, natural disasters, hurricanes or snowstorms, acts of a public enemy, riots, terrorism, interference by civil or military authorities, compliance with proclamations, pandemics, delays in transit or delivery on the part of transportation companies, or other causes beyond the reasonable control and without the fault of Specialty Connections, or if caused by any act or failure to act of another party (an “Event of Force Majeure”). Upon the occurrence of any Event of Force Majeure specified above that results or will result in a delay in or cancellation of the expo or otherwise affects Specialty Connection’s performance under this agreement, Specialty Connections shall promptly give notice to the other party of the occurrence and the effect or anticipated effect of the occurrence on the performance of Specialty Connections’ obligations under this agreement. Specialty Connections will use reasonable efforts under the circumstances to eliminate or minimize the adverse impact of the occurrence on its performance under this agreement. If Specialty Connections cancels the event due to an Event of Force Majeure, no refunds will be made. Specialty Connections shall not be liable for any losses or damages of any type or description, including consequential and/or incidental damages, suffered by any Payor/Vendor as a result of a cancellation of the expo.

 

Space Assignment – All Vendor space assignments will be made at the sole decision of the Expo Coordinator and are subject to change.  Specialty Connections LLC reserves the right to fully determine the eligibility of any company, person, product and/or service in the Vendor areas.  Displaying materials or selling goods deemed offensive, inappropriate for the venue, or substantially differing from what was previously represented constitute grounds for rejection or ejection.  Specialty Connections LLC reserves the right to reject, eject or prohibit any Vendor for violation of these rules without refund.
